Our grinding media is tailor made for each milling application. There is a wide range of alloying options which are decided after adequate test work and technical analysis. We manufacture grinding media with chrome content ranging from 1 % to 30 % in sizes ranging from 15 mm to 140 mm as required by the application
Big balls, ranging from 140 mm to 60 mm, Chrome range from 10% - 28%,Optimal Hardness ranging from 57 - 66 HRc , are essentially used in the first chamber of the mills for crushing the feed material. These balls impart potential energy for crushing and thus required to possess a combination of wear and impact resistance
Grinding by attrition is accomplished by numerous small balls of varying sizes from 15mm to 60mm,Chrome range from 10% - 30% and Optimum Hardness ranging from 60 - 69HRc in second chamber. These balls contribute significantly to the grinding efficiency of the mills. Quality control of the final product depends much on the quality of the balls used.
